DTN COMMENTS: All is quiet in cattle feeding country this morning, so
far, no bids or asking prices have been renewed. Yesterday a few bids
were noted in parts of Nebraska by a Regional at $403, but they were
passed. Some asking prices were noted in parts of Texas at $258 to $260.
Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until Thursday and/or
Friday. Beef cutouts are expected to be mixed with light to moderate box
movement.
NOTE: Feedlots are encouraged to email DTN with any cattle sales, at
linda.nellson@dtn.com. All sales will be listed anonymously and organized
by state. All live sales are FOB and set for 1-9-day delivery. A weekly
summary from this data will be posted on the Weekly Cattle Sales Reported
to DTN page and will be left up for the entire week for reference
purposes.
